The Miri Crocodile Farm cum Mini Zoo is a crocodile farm and zoo in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia. It is registered by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
Known as the first and the largest Crocodile Farm in the northern region of Sarawak. This attraction is registered with and recognised by Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, where you could come face to face with more than 1,000 Crocodiles of various species within a 22 acres land-scaped setting with natural breeding enclosure and man-made sanctuary ponds.
Besides crocodiles, shei s also a home to 60 exotics birds and animals, take a leisure and educational tour around the mini zoo to learn about them and their natural habitat.
Itinerary
Located near Kuala Baram River Mouth, a pleasant scenic coastal drive along Miri-Kuala Baram Road from Miri City Centre will take you there in 20 minutes. Come face to face with more than 1,000 Estuarine Crocodile (Crocodylus Porosus) and Malayan Gharial (Tomistoma Schlegelii) in a 22 acres land, which also houses a mini zoo with Sun Bears, Hornbills, Borneo Gibbons etc, together with a family farm house with cattle, horses, rabbits etc. It will provide an enlightening & awe-inspiring experience for individuals of all ages.
